Joey Ivie, Defensive Tackle, Florida

Here’s what you need to know about the young prospect and the newest Dallas Cowboy:

Height: 6’3”
Weight: 300 lbs.
Combine 40 Speed/Bench: 5.10/26
2016 Numbers: 26 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks

Player Breakdown: Solid pick on a solid player. Quick. High Motor. Coaches love him. Try hard guy. Will give consistent effort. Well liked by all. Short arms. Not a playmaker, didn’t show enough flashes.

Cowboys Analysis: Better three technique than one. Will provide depth behind players like defensive tackles Maliek Collins and Cedric Thornton. Not a lock to make the final 53-man roster. A Rod Marinelli-type player.
