Say what you will about Dak Prescott's lack of playoff success or whether he deserves to be the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL. At the end of the day, though, when Prescott is healthy the Dallas Cowboys are normally in playoff contention.
While Jalen Hurts and Jayden Daniels are worthy competitors, the same cannot be said for Russell Wilson, who has already been named the Giants' starting quarterback. The Giants are Wilson's third team in as many years, and his performance thus far in training camp helps explain why that is the case.
SNY reporter Connor Hughes detailed a poor interception Wilson threw during a two-minute drill in which receiver WanDale Robinson was completely covered. Per Hughes, interceptions have been a problem for Wilson in camp.
Giants QB Russell Wilson struggling in camp is great news for the Cowboys
Tae Banks intercepts Russell Wilson in the #Giants 2-minute drill. He went to Wan’Dale Robinson. Good coverage. Bad throw.

Wilson has struggled with interceptions this summer.
It is important to mention that social media makes camp interceptions a bigger deal than they actually are. That's what practices are for, but only to a certain extent. An accomplished quarterback like Wilson shouldn't be turning the ball over at this high of a clip.
Again, training camp stats should be taken with a grain of salt. However, Bobby Skinner of the Giants Nation Show has Wilson completing 88 of 133 passes for 11 touchdowns and five touchdowns through 10 practices. You would expect a 10-time Pro Bowler to have a more guady stat line, but it has been several years since Wilson has been at that level.

The 36-year-old is a middle-of-the-road player at this stage of his career. He ranked 15th out of 25 qualified quarterbacks last year with 15 big-time throws and 18th with a 63.7 percent completion rate, per PFF.
This is ultimately great news for the Cowboys, who lock horns with the Giants in Week 2 in the friendly confines of AT&T Stadium after they play the Eagles on the road to open the season. The Cowboys have not lost to the Giants with a healthy Prescott since his rookie year in 2016.
That isn't to say Prescott has had a perfect camp, but Tuesday's joint practice with the Rams showed that Dallas may have one of the most potent passing attacks in football this year.
That means Wilson will be dropping back to pass a lot when the Giants and Cowboys square up. Advantage Dallas if that ends up being the case.
