The Dallas Cowboys' offensive line won't be at full strength on Sunday night against the New York Giants, but they'll have left tackle Tyron Smith, who was questionable for the game after suffering an ankle sprain mid-week.
Smith will return to LT after he worked exclusively at right tackle last season after returning from injury. Then-rookie Tyler Smith got the majority of snaps at left tackle, while Jason Peters rotated at left guard and left tackle.
This game will mark Smith's first start at LT since the 2021 playoffs to the 49ers, a whopping 601 days ago, per Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.

Smith was listed as questionable for Week 1, but it's been reported that he'll start at left tackle Sunday night.

Smith hasn't played a full season since 2015 due to injuries. Ankle, neck and back ailments have plagued Smith in the second half of his distinguished career. He's played 17 of a possible 48 games the last three seasons. A torn hamstring and left knee fracture limited the eight-time Pro Bowler to two appearance last year.
