5. San Francisco 49ers

This game is the most obvious, and it's one that Dallas has to win.

The Cowboys' season ended in the Divisional round of last season's playoffs at Levi's Stadium. It was a heartbreaking end to a 12-5 season and it wasn't what fans expected after they stomped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card game.

The offense was non-existent and only scored six points in the final 39 minutes of the game. It wasn't pretty to say the least.

Dallas' matchup with the 49ers this year is on Oct. 8 in San Francisco. It's another road matchup against the Niners, and Dallas needs to get revenge after having their season ended in Santa Clara last year.

The Cowboys also had their season ended by the 49ers in the 2022 playoffs. San Francisco defeated Dallas 23-17 at AT&T Stadium and the game ended on a QB draw after Dak Prescott tried to run the ball further into 49er territory but they couldn't get another snap off and time expired.

Both of these heartbreaking endings could be put behind the Cowboys if they can beat the 49ers in San Francisco in week five. It'll be a must-watch game as the longtime rivals will face off for the third-straight season.
