4. Jonathan Allen, Washington Commanders

Jonathan Allen doesn't play edge rusher for the Commanders, but still somehow finds his way on this list. That's because the two-time Pro Bowler is one of the best pass-rushing defensive tackles in the entire league.

The former Alabama superstar was selected 17th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. And since then, he has been a stud for Washington on defense. Allen has logged six-plus sacks in four of his six NFL seasons.

Allen's best season came in 2021 when the defensive tackle entered his fifth year in the league. The 6-foot-3 lineman totaled a career-high nine sacks and 30 quarterback hits. He was also named to his first Pro Bowl selection that year.

Then, Allen followed that up with another impressive 2022 campaign. He earned his second straight Pro Bowl selection with 7 1/2 sacks and 65 tackles.

Allen has been a menace upfront since he entered the league in 2017. He also always seems to give the Cowboys some trouble when the two teams play. The 28-year-old veteran now enters his seventh NFL season with 33 1/2 career sacks.
