Seahawks vs. Cowboys final score prediction for Thursday Night Football in NFL Week 13
By Peter Dewey
The Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks are battling for position in the NFC playoffs, with Seattle needing a win in Week 13 a little more than Dak Prescott and Dallas.
Seattle has slipped in the recent playoff odds with back-to-back losses, but it still has the inside track to a playoff spot with the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams sitting at 5-6.
Both of these teams played on Thanksgiving last week, so this Thursday Night Football matchup won’t feature two teams on a short week, but instead regular rest.
How does that impact how we predict the final score in this matchup? I am using the latest odds for this game to take a stab at who will win – and by how much – in Week 13.
Seahawks vs. Cowboys odds, spread and total
Cowboys score prediction
This is a tricky score to predict, as it won’t be the same as many Thursday night games where both teams only have a few days to prepare.
However, there is a massive trend for primetime UNDERs this season, which leads me to lean to the UNDER on the 47.5 in the total for this game.
To determine the scoring margin, there are several factors to consider. Dallas has beat up on inferior teams this season, hence the wide spread in this game, but the team has also been money at home – winning all five games in Dallas.
The Seahawks have also struggled on the road (2-3 straight up), so I am predicting a Dallas win in this game.
If the total ends up going UNDER, one of these teams likely won’t reach 20 points. So, I’ll pick Dallas to win by 11 – and cover the spread – in a massive home matchup.
Final score prediction: Cowboys 28, Seahawks 17
