After that showing on Sunday night football, the 49ers are the team to beat in the NFC. They really are the team to beat in the entire NFL. 

The 49ers average 33.4 points per game through five weeks while holding opponents to just 13.6 points per game. They’ve scored at least 30 points in all five games this year and currently lead the league with a +99 score differential. 

Whatever way you look at it, San Francisco is dominant on both sides of the ball. Purdy and running back Christian McCaffrey are also both in the MVP conversation. The 49ers quarterback currently has the fourth-best odds to win the award. 

The 49ers do everything right and very rarely make mistakes. San Francisco has some tough matchups approaching against the Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, and Jacksonville Jaguars. But they are miles ahead of all those teams at this point in the season.
