NFC East division opening odds: Cowboys favored over Eagles to win

Early odds have been released for the 2024 season and one of the markets we can take a look at is odds to win each division, including the NFC East. We haven't seen a repeat winner of the division since the 2003-2004 season. Oddsmakers think that streak may end this year as they have the Cowboys favored to win the division for the second-straight season.

Cowboys favored to win NFC East in 2024

The Cowboys are favored at +110 odds to win the NFC East next season, which is an implied probability of 47.62%. If you bet $100 on the Cowboys to win the division, you'd win a profit of $110 if they're able to achieve the feat.

Despite the upset loss to the Packers, it makes sense why the Cowboys are favored to repeat as division champs. The Washington Commanders and New York Giants don't look anywhere close to being contenders and the Philadelphia Eagles imploded in the final stretch of the season. The Eagles also lost in the opening round of the playoffs, falling to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Cowboys finished second in the NFL and first in the NFC last season in average scoring margin at +9.9. The next closest team in the NFC East in that stat is the Eagles, who finished 16th in the league at -1.0.
