Even though it was only preseason, it was awesome to see the Dallas Cowboys back in action last Sunday after the front office made fans suffer through another grueling offseason.

A number of players fortified their case to make the 53-man roster. Some even performed so well that they may have already clinched a spot on the team. Others, however, didn't play up to expectation and now face a two-week deadline to improve their stock.

Once again, all eyes will be on quarterback Trey Lance. The 24-year-old wasn't sharp against the Rams to say the least. He played all but one series in that game and failed to lead a touchdown drive. Lance should expect a similar, if not bigger, workload this weekend.

If Lance doesn't perform well on Saturday, folks will start to wonder if there is anything he can do to overthrow Cooper Rush as the backup. It makes for a must-watch game and here's how you can take it all in.

How to watch Raiders vs. Cowboys on TV

Like last week, the game will be broadcast locally on CBS. That will be restricted to in-market fans. As always, Bill Jones (play-by-play), Isaiah Stanback (color analyst) and Kyle Youmans (sideline) will call the game on CBS. Fans outside of the Dallas or Las Vegas area can find the game on NFL Network.

How to stream Raiders vs. Cowboys

The game can streamed on a bevy of platforms, including Fubo TV, which offers a seven-day free trial to new users, as well as Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV. Fans who don't have access to those services can also try out NFL+, which broadcasts every out-of-market preseason game. It costs $6.99 per month.

Cowboys injury report vs Raiders

Several Cowboys missed the preseason opener due to injury. The group includes running backs Deuce Vaughn and Royce Freeman, tight end Peyton Hendershot, defensive backs Israel Mukuamu and Sheldrick Redwine and offensive lineman Nate Thomas.

Each of those players are scratching and clawing to make the team. Suffice it to say they need to return to the field in short order. We'll know more about their status closer to kickoff. Teams aren't required to release an injury report in preseason.

What we know for certain is that offensive lineman Chuma Edoga will not suit up. Edoga suffered a broken toe against the Rams and will likely open the season on injured reserve. Rookie Tyler Guyton is now slated to start at left tackle, but tackle depth is now a real issue for Dallas.
