How to watch Cowboys vs. Chargers in NFL Preseason Week 3 with & without cable
By Jerry Trotta
The Dallas Cowboys will look to finish preseason on a high note when they play the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday afternoon. These teams might reside in opposite conferences, but they are no stranger to meeting in the preseason.
Cowboys fans might remember then-rookie KaVontae Turpin cementing a roster spot by returning two kicks for touchdowns in the 2022 preseason against the Chargers. He returned a kick 98 yards for a TD in the first quarter before taking a punt 86 yards to the house in the second quarter.
It'd be silly to expect similar theatrics on Saturday, but the final preseason game does have a penchant for producing the unexpected.
There are still multiple position battles that need to be decided. Rest assured, this game will go a long way in determining those outcomes. For Trey Lance, this is his last chance to prove he deserves the backup job over Cooper Rush. That alone makes this a must-watch game.

Cowboys injury report vs. Chargers
The Cowboys have not been befallen by injuries in preseason, but they have some players dealing with bumps and bruises before Saturday's finale.
Linebackers Damone Clark (knee) and DeMarvion Overshown (hip) were limited in practice this week. Additionally, nose tackle Mazi Smith was back at practice after a severe allergic reaction kept him off the field against the Raiders. With the regular season right around the corner, you have to wonder if Dallas will put all three players in bubble wrap so they are healthy for Week 1.
The Cowboys are not obligated to release an injury report for preseason games, but we'll have updates on who is and isn't playing before kickoff.
