Cowboys vs. Eagles prediction, odds, spread, injuries, trends for NFL Week 9
The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will throw down in a classic NFC East showdown on Sunday. The Eagles are the only one-loss team left in the NFL, but the 5-2 Cowboys can take a step toward closing the gap atop the division with a win.

Cowboys vs. Eagles key players to watch
Dallas Cowboys
CeeDee Lamb: Cowboys fans have been begging them to treat CeeDee Lamb like the elite receiver he is and we finally saw the Cowboys do that this past week. He was targeted 14 times, hauling in 12 receptions for 158 yards and two touchdowns. If the Cowboys continue to do that, they're going to be dangerous all season.
Philadelphia Eagles
A.J. Brown: Everyone has been talking about Tyreek Hill this season, but A.J. Brown is right behind him in virtually every statistic. He has recorded at least 127 receiving yards in six-straight games and has already hauled in five touchdowns on the season. This game could truly be a CeeDee Lamb vs. A.J. Brown showdown.
Cowboys vs. Eagles prediction and pick
Instead of betting on a side in this game, the move to make is to take the OVER. I trust the offenses more than the defenses for both of these NFC East teams.
The Cowboys pass rush and secondary has been great, but we have to admit they've struggled to stop the run at times this season. In fact, they rank 29th in opponent rush success rate which means the Eagles offense is going to be able to exploit that.
Meanwhile, the Eagles defense hasn't been nearly as good as last year either, coming in at 16th in opponent yards per play and 10th in opponent yards per pass attempt. You also have to like how much the Cowboys targeted CeeDee Lamb last week, finally treating him like the true No. 1 receiver he is.
If that continues this week, their offense is going to be clicking on Sunday.
I'll take the OVER and sit back and root for points.
