4. Rico Dowdle has a career game

With Ezekiel Elliott now a member of the New England Patriots, it's been the Tony Pollard show at running back. He hasn't been the same explosive player we saw for the first four years of his career — but he's also coming off a broken fibula suffered in the postseason.

Still, Pollard has been solid with 340 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 4.2 yards per attempt. Unfortunately, his status could be in question as he was limited this week due to a shoulder injury suffered in their Week 5 loss. At this point, he's listed as questionable and will likely play but there's a chance he won't have his typical number of touches.

That opens the door for Rico Dowdle, who has 25 rushing attempts for 95 yards on the season on the ground and 50 yards and a touchdown on five receptions.

His stats aren't eye-popping but Dowdle has looked quick and decisive when given a shot. In this bold prediction, he will put up career numbers with Dallas giving him at least 10 rushing attempts which leads to more than 50 yards and a touchdown. With the Cowboys needing someone to help carry the load, Dowdle steps up to take some of the pressure off Pollard's shoulders.
