4. Cowboys defense records five sacks

Dan Quinn has not been able to knock off his former offensive coordinator as Kyle Shanahan is 2-0 against him as head coach of San Francisco. He hasn't lit up the scoreboard but his offense also hasn't made the costly mistakes that the Dallas defense feeds on.

This past season, the Cowboys were handed a 19-12 loss and while Brock Purdy had just 214 yards on 19-of-29 passing, San Francisco had no turnovers on offense. They did surrender three points when Ray-Ray McCloud fumbled away a punt in the third quarter, but the offense never shot themselves in the foot.

They also did a great job keeping Micah Parsons and the rest of their talented pass rushers from taking over. Purdy was sacked just two times with DeMarcus Lawrence and Osa Odighizuwa getting through for one each.

In this bold prediction, that's not how it goes down. While the 49ers have a good offensive line, the Cowboys have 14 sacks in the first three games with seven different players recording at least one and four players with two or more. They're also hungry to prove they're not just defeating good teams and will do that with at least five sacks on Purdy.
