It's easily the biggest game of the young season for the Dallas Cowboys as they head to San Francisco in Week 5.
The 49ers have knocked Dallas out of the playoffs the past two seasons which has them looking at this game as a measuring stick. It's also being called the first real test this team has had in 2023.
Sure, they were handed a loss by the Arizona Cardinals but that was a case of them overlooking an opponent. It was also the only win the Cards had. As for their other opponents, Dallas knocked off the 1-3 New York Giants, 1-3 New York Jets, and 1-3 New England Patriots.
Now set to face the 4-0 Niners, here are five predictions for the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5.
5. CeeDee Lamb gains 100 yards and a TD
In their latest postseason loss to San Francisco, CeeDee Lamb was one of the few bright spots. The electric wideout had 10 receptions for 117 yards. They weren't able to score many touchdowns but they did move the ball thanks in large part to No. 88.
This year, he's continued to shine with 23 receptions on 30 targets with 309 yards and one touchdown. While those numbers are solid, he's only had one game with more than 100 yards, which happened in Week 2 when he put up 143 yards on 11 catches.
In this first bold prediction, Lamb has another big outing with double-digit receptions and at least 100 yards. He's proven to be a legitimate No. 1 wideout and should step up when his team needs him most this weekend.
