Coming off the bye, the Dallas Cowboys will look to improve to 5-2 on the season and keep pace with the Eagles and 49ers in the NFC. Luckily, the Cowboys get a date at home with the 3-4 Rams who are coming off a frustrating loss in Week 7 to the Steelers.
Part of the reason LA lost that game? Brett Maher missed three kicks (two field goals and an extra point). The Rams swiftly released Maher and signed former Colts kicker Lucas Havrisik off the Browns' practice squad. On paper, the Cowboys should have a distinct advantage on special teams in this matchup.
That said, the Rams have plenty of star-power to overcome their kicking woes. Between Matt Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald and rookie phenom Puka Nucua, the Cowboys will have plenty of talent to account for on Sunday.

Cowboys vs Rams Week 8 injuries
The Cowboys don't currently have anyone listed on their injury report. Safety Juanyeh Thomas appeared on Wednesday's report, but only to clarify that he was a full participant after he missed Week 6 with a hamstring injury. Tyron Smith is likely to play after he was limited at practice with a neck injury.
The Rams, meanwhile, are expected to have DT Larrell Murchison, LB Ernest Jones, OLB Byron Young, DB Russ Yeast and WR Ben Skowronek available after all five players were limited throughout the week. They will, however, be without starting RB Kyren Williams, who's on IR with an ankle injury suffered in Week 6.
