6. 233rd overall: Quinton Newsome, CB, Nebraska

The Dallas Cowboys have done a really good job of developing cornerbacks in recent years, and getting a late-round value like Quinton Newsome could be a great fit.

In the later rounds, you're always searching for upside, and you have to find guys who can come in right away and give you help on special teams. Newsome can do that. He was a starter for the Huskers the last three years at corner, where he was extremely productive, but he's also got experience on coverage units and can be an asset for you there.

7. 244th overall: Dillon Johnson, RB, Washington

The former Mississippi State transfer had an awesome year for the Washington Huskies in 2023 with 16 rushing touchdowns and an average of 5.1 yards per carry on 233 total attempts. With 173 career receptions at the collegiate level, Johnson is also one of the most experienced three-down backs in the class and would be a really intriguing dart throw for the Cowboys late in this class.

Even if the Cowboys bring back Ezekiel Elliott in free agency, a couple of backs from this class could give this unit some much-needed depth and options for the future.
