Cowboys fans are frustrated with Brandin Cooks' usage

Brandin Cooks and 1,000-yard receiving seasons have been a package deal for most of Cook's career. In nine seasons before he was traded to the Cowboys, Cooks logged six 1,000-yard seasons with four different teams.

Through eight games this season, though, Cooks is on pace to post the worst statistical season of his career. He has 17 catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns. In the Week 9 loss to the Eagles, Dak Prescott targeted Jalen Tolbert and Luke Schoonmaker over Cooks in high-leverage situations.

Cooks is fifth on the team in targets through Week 9. Despite that, head coach Mike McCarthy isn't concerned about Cook's output.

"I’d love to see everybody get the ball. But when you throw for (374) yards and you got to come in here and answer questions about someone not getting the ball, I mean, come on, I don’t think that’s a real evaluation."

Mike McCarthy

This isn't about everybody getting the ball so much as it as ignoring a player who you liked enough to trade for and has played in two Super Bowls.
