Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb will play in Week 12 despite ankle injury
The Cowboys have a short turnaround this week as they host the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving. That leaves little time for players battling injuries (which is likely most NFL players at this point in the season) to recover.
CeeDee Lamb was listed as limited on Monday's injury report with an ankle injury, though it's worth noting that the team didn't practice. Mike McCarthy said Lamb's ankle isn't "of high concern" and that Dallas won't ask him to "open up" until Wednesday before Thursday's game.
It appears the Cowboys were just being precautious with their All-Pro receiver, who's logged a monster workload over the last month. Sure enough, Lamb told reporters that he'll play Thursday's rivalry game against the Commanders.
