Cowboys News: Dak Prescott, Dalton Schultz, Travis Kelce, Saquon Barkley

Former TE Dalton Schultz critical of Cowboys culture
Another former Cowboy has come forward and blasted the team's culture. Dalton Schultz's comments went viral because he poked fun at Dallas, but he didn't tell us anything we didn't already know about how Jerry Jones runs the team.
Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Schultz was asked to explain the difference playing for the Texans relative to the Cowboys.
"The focus is just football, you know what I mean?" Schultz said of the Texans. "I'm going back and telling some people about being around the Cowboys practice facility and game day and describing some of the interactions and stuff that you see on a day-to-day basis and it surprises a lot of people."
"It's literally a zoo, dude. There's people tapping on the glass trying to get people's attention while they're doing power cleans or whatever. That's the brand that they've built, that's what Jerry Jones likes, that's the way that they run things and there's nothing wrong with that. You don't realize how many eyeballs and how much that can maybe distract in the locker room, just being in the facility until you go somewhere else and you're like, 'Holy crap, there's none of that.'"
Again, did Schultz say anything groundbreaking? Whether it's a distraction the locker room is a different story, but Troy Aikman made the same points a month ago. Schultz isn't the first to explain that other organizations operate with a football-first (and only) mindset. And he won't be the last.
