The Dallas Cowboys started the offseason as the betting favorites to win the NFC East. Those odds then evened out after the Philadelphia Eagles got off to a hot start to their free agency by signing the likes of Saquon Barkley.

Now, things have gone back to where they were originally and the Cowboys are once again favorites to successfully defend their NFC East title.

Let's take a look.

Cowboys NFC East odds

Cowboys back to favorites to win division

After dropping to +135, the Cowboys are back to being +115 favorites to win the NFC East. At those odds, the Cowboys are being given a 46.51% implied probability of winning the division. If you were to bet $100 on them to do it, you'd win a profit of $115 if they're able to achieve the feat.

They would also be the first team to win back-to-back NFC East titles since 2004.

Dallas hasn't done many moves to improve on their roster up to this point of the offseason, but they did make a key signing in acquiring linebacker, Eric Kendricks. He's coming off a season with the chargers that saw him rack up 117 combined tackles and 3.5 sacks in 15 games. He'll be key in filling the whole left by Leighton Vander Esch, who retired this offseason due to continued injuries.

The Eagles are the only realistic challenge for the Cowboys in the division next season with both the Washington Commanders and New York Giants in the middle of a rebuild.
