Best Seventh-Round Selection: Jay Ratliff, NT

The best seventh-round selection turned out to be an easy find. Jay Ratliff, drafted in the seventh round out of Auburn in the 2005 NFL Draft, became one of the more surprising players to emerge.

As an afterthought in the draft, Ratliff enjoyed a nine-year career (2005-2013) in Dallas. In his nine-season, Ratliff tallied 160 tackles, 46 tackles for loss, 57 quarterback hits, 27 sacks, four forced fumbles, and 13 fumble recoveries.

The former Auburn Tiger would make four Pro Bowls (2008-2011) and was named a first-team all-pro in 2009.

Not bad for a guy who was passed up 223 times.

Runner Up: Patrick Crayton
