Defensive Line (10):

DeMarcus Lawrence
Osa Odighizuwa
Johnathan Hankins
Dorance Armstrong
Dante Fowler
Sam Williams
Mazi Smith
Neville Gallimore
Viliami Fehoko
Chauncey Golston

Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn loves to bring the heat with his pass rushers by keeping them all fresh. That's why they go deep on the defensive line with 10 players in this prediction — however, this is the spot that could see someone very talented released if they did elect to go with three quarterbacks or even bolster the depth on the O-line.

For now, the starters will be DeMarcus Lawrence and Dorance Armstrong on the edge with Johnathan Hankins and Osa Odighizuwa playing the D-tackle spots. Each of those positions has excellent reserves that would be more than capable of starting.

At defensive end, Dante Fowler played in all 17 games with no starts but had six sacks. They can also lean on second-year player Sam Williams, who came on strong at the end of the year. Chauncey Golston is capable of playing on the edge, as is rookie Viliami Fehoko, but they might see more time as 3-techs behind Odighizuwa.

Mazi Smith is the team's first-round pick and starts the season behind Hankins. It won't be long until he unseats him but Hankins won't make it easy.

Neville Gallimore is there for now but he could be the one in trouble if depth is needed elsewhere.
