Week 5: Cowboys at 49ers (NBC) SNF

There's only so many primetime games to go around and a rematch against the 49ers was always going to get the nod over Jets-Cowboys.

A revenge game for Dallas in primetime? It just makes sense. The last two seasons saw Dallas' hopes for a sixth Lombardi Trophy end at the hands of the 49ers. It's great for the Cowboys to have this game early, as San Francisco didn't hit its stride until the second half of the schedule last season.

A win against one of the top teams in the league would be a momentum-setter. However, while the defense held its own in the divisional round, the Dallas offense must find life against an aggressive 49er defense. The big question, however, is who will be the starting quarterback for San Francisco?

Week 14: Eagles at Cowboys (NBC) SNF

Here we go. That time of year again, and we have another Eagles vs Cowboys matchup late in the season. Last year, the two teams met in Arlington in Week 16, which the Cowboys won a 40-34 thriller as they were still in the running for the NFC East title. This game could have the same type of feeling.

These are the types of games Dallas must win if they want to reclaim the division. On the other hand, the Eagles are loaded on both sides of the ball and, on paper, are geared up to make another run. Despite that, the Cowboys closed the gap this offseason and we expect another close battle that should come down to the wire.
