Complete Monday Night Football schedule for the 2024 season
By Jerry Trotta
With the NFL Draft is in the rearview, the annual schedule release has taken centerstage. It's the last bookmark on the offseason calendar before training camp, so fans have soaked in the anticipation and excitement leading up to Wednesday night's big reveal.
The NFL dominates the entire Sunday slate and Thursday night, but Monday Night Football is arguably the biggest stage of the week. Sure enough, the league made sure to have a box-office opener to jumpstart the 2024 MNF slate as Aaron Rodgers and the Super Bowl-hopeful Jets will travel to Santa Clara to play the reigning NFC champion 49ers.
That is an absolute dream matchup for ESPN play-by-play commentator Joe Buck and color analyst and Cowboys legend Troy Aikman.
While the Dallas Cowboys have become a staple on Sunday Night Football, they only played once on Monday night in 2023: Week 6 against the LA Chargers on the road. This season is a different story, however, as the Cowboys will play on MNF twice.
Now that the 2024 NFL schedule has been released in full, let's take a look at the complete Monday Night Football schedule this year.

There are myriad mouthwatering matchups on the Monday Night Football slate. The Cowboys' Week 11 showdown against the Texans has the potential to be the best of them all. Between the inner-state rivalry, Trevon Diggs matching up against older brother Stefon Diggs and Dak Prescott locking horns with fast-rising superstar C.J. Stroud, this matchup has the makings to be the game of the year.
Monday Night Football will also feature five doubleheaders this season. The doubleheader feature has increased in popularity over the years (how could it not?) and it's clear the NFL is going to ride that wave for as long as it can.
