2. Trade for Broncos WR Courtland Sutton

A trade involving Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton might fall on the more "underrated" side for the Dallas Cowboys, but it's something that I think could be really interesting for them. There were rumors in the lead up to the 2018 NFL Draft that the Cowboys loved Sutton and were poised to potentially take him in the first round, but they passed.

As did every other NFL team.

Sutton has developed into a reliable "X" receiver in the NFL and is coming off of perhaps the best year of his NFL career so far. He caught 10 touchdown passes for the Broncos last year and had a QB rating when targeted of over 121. That means, when the ball was going Sutton's direction, he was typically making his QB look really good.

When you talk about adding a secondary target in the passing game for Dak Prescott, I think Sutton is arguably perfect as a complement to CeeDee Lamb. He can help take the pressure off. He can convert in the red zone as well as just about any receiver in the league. He's a great blocker. He is a great teammate. He is beloved in the Broncos' locker room.

Adding Sutton would require the Cowboys to move on from both Brandin Cooks and Michael Gallup, but that is probably a good trade at this point.
