1. Nahshon Wright

Kelvin Joseph has established a role that could lead to a greater opportunity in the base defense. The same thing might not be said by Wright. While exploring options last season, Dallas considered who could fill the role of Trevon Diggs' sidekick.

It was during the last season that Wright was given the opportunity he had been hoping for. His physical traits are easily noticeable. The cornerbacks Dan Quinn favors are characterized by their specific length and size. He has a competitive mindset and will battle.

To improve next season, Wright must work on stopping big plays. According to Pro Football Focus, Wright's play during his first two NFL seasons was disappointing, with grades of 51.8 and 45.7.

Wright is locked in for the next two seasons and can become a free agent in 2024. For now, he earns a base salary of approximately $1.1 million, which will rise to $1.3 million in the next season. It seems unlikely that Dallas would pay that amount to someone other than CJ Goodwin for special teams.
