1. Ezekiel Elliott

Unlike his four former teammates, Elliott was under contract with the Cowboys when the offseason started. Of course, Dallas released Elliott after seven seasons with the team due to his contract and declining production.

It's a bit stunning Zeke hasn't been scooped up by a team. Per former Cowboys running backs coach Skip Peete, that might be due to Elliott's reluctance to accept a secondary (or tertiary) role, and thereby a truncated salary.

That leaves the door open for a potential Dallas reunion. While Elliott has been linked with teams such as the Buccaneers, Browns, and Bengals, ESPN NFL writer Bill Barnwell recently predicted that the former All-Pro will be back in Dallas.

With no proven RB behind Tony Pollard -- and certainly nobody who can fatigue an opposing defense between the tackles -- Jerry Jones is likely holding out hope that Zeke remains unsigned a little longer so he can make his move.
