3. CeeDee Lamb outshines A.J. Brown

CeeDee Lamb has been on fire the past two weeks. After expressing his desire to get the ball more — in order to kickstart the offense — he started to see more passes thrown his way. He’s responded by putting up back-to-back 100-yard games.

In Week 6, he had seven receptions for 117 yards as the Cowboys beat the Los Angeles Chargers. He was even better in the win over the Rams last week, catching 12 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns.

As good as he’s been, A.J. Brown has been even better. The Eagles No. 1 wideout has put up at least 125 yards in each of their past six games. In all, he’s already pulled in 60 receptions for 939 yards and five touchdowns.

That means Philadelphia will be targeting him early and often, and he has had success against this defense. Last year, which was his first with the Eagles, Brown had 16 receptions for 170 yards and a touchdown.

As good as those numbers are, Lamb slightly outperformed Brown when the two teams faced off last year. Lamb had 15 receptions for 188 yards with two touchdowns.

That’s why this bold prediction is that he continues this trend and puts up better numbers than Brown. That, of course, will also mean the Cowboys secondary is getting the job done, which has been the case this season with their passing defense being ranked fourth in yards surrendered entering Week 9.
