4. WR Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas was once one of the best receivers in the league. A slew of ankle and lower-leg injuries have caused him to miss a whopping 43 games over the last four seasons. However, he showed flashes in 2023 that he can still be a productive receiver.

Thomas still has a hint of quickness in him during routes. He knows how to get open and can be a chain-mover for the Cowboys. Will he catch 100 passes in a season again? Probably not, but a 70-catch campaign does not seem farfetched.

Thomas would be a better fit in Dallas' offense than someone like Renfrow given his ability to make plays in the slot and out wide. The three-time Pro Bowler signed a one-year, $10 million deal with the Saints this time last year. Odds are his price tag only dropped after he missed seven more games in 2023.

At the right price, Thomas would be a tremendous addition to the Cowboys' offense. Jalen Tolbert has been all the rage during OTAs, but the win-now Cowboys need another experienced pass-catcher behind CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks.
