The Dallas Cowboys head into their bye week looking inward to figure out what they need to do to get back on the right track on both sides of the football.

Picking up a win against the LA Chargers was huge, but that game highlighted a few areas the front office needs to re-evaluate. One way to fix those "problems' could be to make a splash before the NFL trade deadline on Oct.31.

The Cowboys have a little over $7 million in cap space, per OverTheCap, so they have plenty of money to spend.

Jerry and Stephen Jones showed this offseason that they were willing to make trades in order to make this roster better and those moves have paid off. But the devastating loss to the 49ers still has to be lingering in the back of their minds. Dallas' roster on paper may look good head-to-head against the 49ers and Eagles, but the product on the field doesn't match that perception.

Right now, the Cowboys need help in the secondary, at linebacker, and at wide receiver. This could be their last chance to make a move or two to get in position to make a run and start playing at a higher level.
