2. Difficult road schedule

While the NFL gave the Cowboys six primetime games, it didn't have the team's best interest at heart when it formulated Dallas' road schedule.

Try wrapping your mind around this, Cowboys Nation: America's Team will play the 49ers, Dolphins, Bills and Chargers all on the road. Of the five non-NFC East teams on the schedule that made the playoffs last season, only one is at home -- the Seahawks in Week 13.

The game will be on Thursday Night Football, too. Before you freak out, it comes a week after the Cowboys' Thanksgiving clash against Washington, so they'll have a full week of rest in between games. Still, though, that is hardly a silver lining given Seattle is the worst of the aforementioned 2022 playoff teams.

All teams face a few world-beaters on the road, but the sheer imbalance of Dallas' road opponents is glaring. They need to take care of business at home.
