2. Can Peyton Hendershot retain his spot on the roster?
Similar to Fant. Last year the Cowboys added Peyton Hendershot after the draft. As a UDFA, the former Indiana product surprised many by making the 53 and seeing significant playtime.
Hendershot played in all 17 games as a rookie and had a pair of starts. He finished his rookie season with 11 receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns and had one rushing touchdown.
Still, while the experience in the system is there, the competition for what are likely three spots on the active roster and one on the practice squad will be a challenge with multiple newcomers and a battle for the starting spot. Hendershot will have to show the coaches why he belongs again with hopefully a mistake-free camp.
