2. Cedrick Wilson, WR, Miami Dolphins

Adding Brandin Cooks should make a huge impact on the receiving corps this season, but there were no other moves made by the front office. Instead, they're banking on Michael Gallup returning to health and Jalen Tolbert taking a step forward in year two.

Perhaps it happens but they should be willing to protect themselves with a fallback plan. Last year, they had that in Noah Brown, who had 43 receptions for 555 yards with three touchdowns. Now in Houston, Brown won't be able to step up as the WR3 if Gallup continues to struggle of if Tolbert doesn't improve.

That's why a reunion with Cedrick Wilson would be wise. Wilson, who had 45 receptions for 602 yards and six touchdowns signed with the Miami Dolphins in 2022 and was a forgotten man. He had just 12 receptions on the year and there were rumors he would be welcome back in Big D if the Dolphins decided to move on.

Cutting Wilson would be a hit for the Dolphins, as they would have to absorb $6 million in dead money. Even so, he's currently behind Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill. Plus, the Dolphins added Chosen Anderson and Braxton Berrios, making it even less likely that Wilson finishes out his three-year deal in South Beach.
