2. Bijan Robinson

If the Cowboys want a difference-maker on offense, why not grab the best running back prospect since Saquon Barkley?

Of course, Robinson has to fall to the Cowboys and that's not a guarantee with multiple RB-need teams selecting before them. But if he's still on the board at 26, it would be a game-changing pick for Dallas.

Last week, Stephen Jones talked about the possibility of drafting Robinson by saying"You never know" in regards to the Cowboys selecting the Texas running back.

After the release of Ezekiel Elliott this offseason, Dallas might want to spend an early pick on a running back to replace the long-time Cowboys vet. Having the one-two punch of Elliott and Tony Pollard worked wonders over the past couple of years.

Now, replacing Elliott with a faster, younger version in Robinson to mix with Pollard in the Cowboys' offense would make Dallas even more unstoppable.

Running backs aren't highly valued in the NFL anymore. But a back of Robinson's caliber shouldn't fall too far in the draft. He ran for over 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore and 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns in his final college season.

As a runner, Robinson does everything right. He finds the holes, he makes quick cuts, and defenders have a hard time bringing him down. If available, the Cowboys would be crazy to pass on a talent like that.

According to ESPN, Robinson is listed as the number two overall prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft.
