3 perfect Cowboys trade targets nobody is talking about

2. Broncos LB Josey Jewell
The Cowboys could definitely benefit from adding a linebacker. Leighton Vander Esch is on injured reserve with a neck strain. He'll miss a minimum of four games, but it could be longer given his history with neck ailments.
Markquese Bell and Damone Clark form an athletic starting duo, but they lack experience that will prove valuable down the stretch of the regular season. Combined they've started 12 games, and Bell made his first career start in Week 6.
In his sixth year with the Broncos, Josey Jewell would bring plenty of experience to the Cowboys linebacker room: 68 games and 49 starts to be exact.
It's anyone's guess what other LBs will become available this week, but the 2-5 Broncos are reportedly listing multiple veterans on the trade block. A free agent to be after this season, it'd make sense for Denver to cash in on Jewell while they still can, even if it's nothing more than a late-round draft pick.
At the end of the day, Jewell is a quality off-ball linebacker. Some would argue he's underrated and would take his game to another level in a better-performing defense. He's missed three tackles all season and has notched an impressive 13 defensive stops, per PFF (subscription required).
Pass rushing is the weakest aspect of his game, but we all know the Cowboys aren't lacking in that department.
