2. Cole Beasley, WR

Once upon a time, Beasley was the most important receiver in the Cowboys' offense. He was never the most talented, but the former undrafted free agent had a knack for coming up with big catches, specifically on third down.

Though an undersized slot wideout, Beasley played the part of a security blanket for both Tony Romo and Dak Prescott -- the role you typically expect from a tight end.

Though Beasley was only around for Prescott's first three seasons, he enjoyed his most prolific season with No. 4 throwing him spirals. That year, 2018, Beasley caught 75 passes for 833 yards and five touchdowns. He moved the chains 51 times on 98 targets and caught nearly 75 percent of his targets.

After a three-year run in Buffalo -- and not long after getting signed to the Buccaneers practice squad -- Beasley announced his retirement in October. Two months later, Beasley ended his retirement and signed to the Bills practice squad to give the team more depth at the position before the playoffs.

A free agent, it's not farfetched that Beasley finds another a home for the upcoming season. At the same time, though, it wouldn't surprise anyone if the 34-year-old settled back into retirement to be a "full-time dad and husband."
