1. Darnell Washington, TE, Georgia

NFL Network's Jane Slater reported Thursday evening that Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy wanted a tight end.

No tight ends were off the board until the Buffalo Bills traded up in front of Dallas and drafted Utah star Dalton Kincaid with the 25th pick. This could have been a player that Dallas was targeting and the Bills traded up with fear that Dallas was going to take him.

One player that would make McCarthy happy on day two of the NFL Draft is Georgia tight end Darnell Washington. Standing at 6'7" and weighing 264 pounds, Washington is an absolute physical monster. He finished with 28 receptions for 454 yards and two touchdowns in his senior season at Georgia.

He has a humungous frame and catch radius and would be a big new target in the middle of the field for Dak Prescott. Although he isn't known for excellent technique when pass blocking, that is something that the Cowboys could help him with. He is already a monster when run-blocking and would help open up the field for Tony Pollard.

Washington's size and freak athleticism makes him an instant mismatch over smaller line backers and he will be an excellent red zone target in the NFL. He fights through contact and remains focused on the ball when making tough catches in small windows.

Stay tuned to see what moves Dallas makes on Friday night of the NFL Draft. They will be looking to add players that immediately fill holes within the roster so you won't want to miss it when Dallas is on the clock.
