2. Jabril Cox, LB

The Cowboys have multiple breakout candidates at linebacker. While Damone Clark is the obvious candidate after his promising rookie year, third-year man Jabril Cox carries more of an underdog narrative given he's played just 45 defensive snaps over his first two seasons.

There's a reason for that, of course, as Cox suffered a torn ACL seven games into his rookie campaign. Cox had largely played special teams up until that point, but he showed flashes in his limited defensive work, like his thunderous third and goal tackle on Daniel Jones to save a touchdown.

Finally healthy after a grueling rehab process, Cox is clicking on all cylinders. He had a sequence during a two-minute end-of-game-situation at minicamp when he broke up consecutive passes on third and fourth down to seal the win for the defense.

It's overlooked that Cox has the most experience in the Cowboys' linebacker room outside of Leighton Vander Esch. If he can build on this momentum going into training camp, he'll have a real shot to earn a bigger workload on defense because his overall upside and range in coverage is rare for the position.
