Whether you believe that Jerry Jones or Micah Parsons is at fault for the Dallas Cowboys shipping Micah off to Green Bay last summer, it doesn't change the reality. The bad blood between Cowboys fans and Micah Parsons is only getting worse, especially since he had a great year for a bitter rival.
Replacing a player like Parsons isn't easy. He's a five-time Pro Bowler and one of the best pass-rushers in the world. And while Jerry Jones failed in this area last season, he acquired Rashan Gary and drafted Malachi Lawrence in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft to fill the void off the edge.
And even though Micah has been gone for a year now, his family is still finding ways to chirp fans of his old team. While a Cowboys fan was hyping up the Gary addition on Twitter, his brother, Terrence Jr., dunked on Dallas with a Tweet implying that they're in for a rude awakening with the ex-Pro Bowler.
Definitely can stop the run but outside of that yall gonna fuck around and find out 🤣🤣 https://t.co/xlNDgdpMwf

Micah Parsons' brother isn't a fan of the Cowboys trading for Rashan Gary
Parsons and Gary played together in Green Bay last season, and they were their team leaders in sacks in 2025. To be fair, his presence did make their entire Packers' defense better, but what Terrence forgot is that Gary was a Pro Bowler in 2024 and had his best season before they got Micah.
Even then, it's not like the Cowboys are asking Rashan Gary to be Micah Parsons. They're looking for more consistent production off the edge. Jadeveon Clowney put the pass rush on his back last year. Parsons' brother needs to relax with the implication that Gary not being on Parsons' level means he can't rush the passer at all.
The 28-year-old Gary has amassed 39.5 sacks since 2021. That's top 20 in the NFL. The former Michigan Wolverine is better as a run defender than a pass-rusher, but that doesn't make him a bad pass-rusher. He still puts up decent sack numbers and is decent at generating pressure, which matters.
Throwing shade at the Cowboys when your brother is supposedly better off after signing a market-shattering contract is the exact opposite of taking the high road. And throwing shade at one of your brother's former teammates is even more confusing.
The rivalry between Micah Parsons (and his family) and the Cowboys only seems to intensify with every public comment, giving Rashan Gary even more motivation to prove them wrong when the teams cross paths in Week 5 this upcoming season.
