The retirement of Zack Martin officially ushered in a new era of the Dallas Cowboys' offensive line. If you can believe it, right tackle Terence Steele, who turned 28 last month, is now the elders statesman of the group.
With Tyler Smith establishing himself as one of the best guards in football and 2025 first-round pick Tyler Booker ready to hit the ground running in year one, the Cowboys' offensive line is in good hands moving forward. However, it was Cooper Beebe - not Smith - who was tabbed Dallas' most promising building block entering 2025 by Bleacher Report.
"Beebe can improve his pass-blocking, but he has sound technique and fared well as a run-blocker, which is important to help the Cowboys balance their offensive attack and take some pressure off quarterback Dak Prescott," Moe Moton wrote.
Beebe becoming Cowboys' building block would take team to infinite heights
Beebe's inclusion is a pleasant surprise. As the second of Dallas' third-round picks last year, Beebe is widely regarded as one of the team's best-kept secrets. It is cool to see Moton give Beebe the recognition he deserves after a rock-solid rookie season.
Playing center on a full-time basis for the first time in his career, Beebe allowed just three sacks and 18 pressures on 1,059 snaps, per Pro Football Focus. He also flaunted a 98.3 pass-blocking efficiency and committed just three penalties all year.

It stands to reason that Beebe will only get better with more experience. If Booker plays up to his first-round billing, the Cowboys could have one of the best interior offensive line trios in football once the sun sets on the 2025 season.
Beebe accumulated various accolades while at Kansas State, including being named Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year on two separate occasions. The writing is on the wall why Cowboys fans should be all in on the former Wildcat.
Throughout their history, the Cowboys have been blessed with some of the best offensive line play the NFL has ever seen. Tyler Smith seems to be the next great OL to come out of Dallas and Beebe will be on track to join him if he takes another step forward in 2025.
