There aren't many things that rattle Jerry Jones' cage, but fan apathy might top the list. With seven games left on the schedule, many Dallas Cowboys fans have mentally checked out. Even if they still watch every week, the level of emotional buy-in has curtailed significantly.

If there's any matchup(s) fans can still get up for, though, it's NFC East rivalry games. The Cowboys will face Dan Quinn and the Washington Commanders this week.

Quinn has helmed a remarkable turnaround in Washington. The Commanders are 7-4 and have a two-game lead for the NFC's final Wild Card spot. They've crashed back down to earth with back-to-back losses, but they have a perfect get-right game against Mike McCarthy's group.

How to watch Commanders vs. Cowboys on TV

This is only the third time this season that the Cowboys will play in the early slate on Sunday. The game will be played on FOX, but the network will have two other games in the early window: Bears vs. Vikings and Colts vs. Lions. Fortunately, most of the country will show Cowboys vs. Commanders, according to the Week 12 coverage map.

Joe Davis will have play-by-play with the great Greg Olsen as the color analyst. Veteran reporter Pam Olier will have live updates from the sideline during the game.

This is only the second time this season that the Cowboys have not had a network's top broadcast crew. Ironically, Olsen is FOX's best color analyst, so Cowboys fans will at least get to listen to excellent analysis.

How to stream Commanders vs. Cowboys

While most of the country will show Cowboys-Commanders on cable, there are multiple ways to stream the game.

FuboTV is a popular option and offers a seven-day free trial to new users. NFL Sunday Ticket is another platform. It can be accessed on YouTube and offers an efficient way to watch every Cowboys game this season, as well as every out-of-market NFL game.

The Cowboys swept Washington last season by a combined score of 83-10. That included a 38-10 win at FedEx Field in Week 18 to clinch the NFC East. What's ironic is that Dallas hosts the Commanders in Week 18 this season. It would be quite the turn of events if Washington needs a win in that game to clinch a playoff berth.
