Any hope the Dallas Cowboys had at making the playoffs ended with their loss on Monday Night Football. While they are not mathematically eliminated, they are three games back with four to play heading into Sunday's matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

Two months ago, Cowboys fans would have circled this game as a win for Dallas. Last year's No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young looked broken and was benched for Andy Dalton. The defense couldn't punch its way out of a paper bag.

Since replacing the injured Dalton, though, Young looks like the player who won the Heisman Trophy at Alabama. His confidence is finally restored and he's trusting his instincts. Over his last five games, Young is averaging 209.8 yards per game with six touchdowns to two interceptions. He's showing comfort in the face of pressure and making plays off-script.

The emergence of Chuba Hubbard as a Pro Bowl-caliber running back has made Young's life easier. In the last five games, Hubbard ranks second in rushing yards over expected, per Next Gen Stats. For the season, he is top 10 in rushing yards, forced missed tackles and yards after contact per carry.

This will be a tough matchup for the Cowboys. It has the makings of a sneaky-entertaining game. If you can't watch it on TV, we've got you covered on how to listen via the radio.
