The Dallas Cowboys are set to face off against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football in what will be an absolutely pivotal matchup late in the 2025 season. The Vikings don't really stand much of a chance at making it anywhere in the NFC this season, but they can prevent the Cowboys from gaining more ground on the Philadelphia Eagles.

And the Cowboys simply cannot let that happen.

We're going to make some scorching-hot predictions for the Cowboys in this Sunday night matchup, including projecting George Pickens to erase absolutely any doubt about his abilities as a true WR1 in the NFL. As much as these are bold predictions, we're also manifesting that positivity for the Cowboys.

George Pickens goes off in bold predictions for Cowboys vs. Vikings in Week 15

George Pickens goes for 150-plus vs. Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings' defense has not allowed more than 150 total yards through the air since November 16. They have not allowed more than 200 total passing yards since November 2. In fact, in 13 games this season, they've given up 200-plus passing yards as a team just three times.

Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores doesn't let teams throw on him, but George Pickens is going to take what happened last week against the Detroit Lions personal. Richard Sherman was calling him out as the story of the game due to his lack of effort. A bad dropped pass resulted in an interception. Pickens clearly didn't give full effort on a well-thrown deep ball from Dak Prescott.

But he's going to bounce back this week and do to the Vikings what really nobody has done to them all year: Dominate.

Cowboys pick off JJ McCarthy three times

If the Dallas Cowboys are going to make a playoff run and steal the division title back from the Philadelphia Eagles, they're going to have to start creating more takeaways. The Cowboys have just 10 takeaways this season and haven't forced a turnover in their last two games.

JJ McCarthy has thrown 10 interceptions in limited action this season (5.5 percent interception rate on his throws), and ball security has been a clear issue.

No matter who comes away with them, I'm saying the Cowboys are going to pick off "Nine" a total of three times in this game, setting up the Cowboys' offense to potentially put up 40-plus against this strong Vikings defense.

Cowboys don't turn the ball over offensively

Are you telling me it's actually possible for the Cowboys to finish a game without a giveaway offensively?

It doesn't seem overly possible, but it is. The Cowboys have turned the ball over at least once in every game since their 44-22 win over the Washington Commanders back in October. It's been a long time since this team played a flawless game offensively, and now would be the perfect time for it.

No interceptions. No fumbles. No turnovers, helping pave the way for the Cowboys to not only win the turnover battle but to actually play a flawless game on offense.
