Cowboys turned Micah Parsons' worst moment into a savage punchline

It's all in good fun!

The Dallas Cowboys' 2026 schedule is out, and it's anything but friendly. They have three games in an 11-game span, including their Week 3 trek to Brazil, and their bye isn't until Week 14. Yeah, we don't know what the NFL was thinking, either.

What does deserve applause, though, is the Cowboys' social media team and the three Tylers -- Tyler Smith, Tyler Guyton, and Tyler Booker -- for the work they put into Dallas' schedule release video.

Essentially, they formed the "Tyler Intelligence Agency," going on undercover missions to find ways to exploit every opponent to give Dallas the upper hand. They sought to "rescue" Christian Parker from Philadelphia, but they saved arguably the best for Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers.

In trolling the Packers for being the only publicly-owned franchise in the NFL, a fake chart showing Green Bay's stock price in freefall is placed on a training table. But just not any table. The table where Parsons notoriously lied down during a preseason game before Dallas traded him.

Here's a closer look:

Before you ask, no, Jerry Jones had nothing to do with this.

Every "mission" was done in good fun. All 32 teams use the schedule release as a platform to throw shade at each other. Trolling Parsons may have extra meaning because the trade was less than a year ago, but it didn't cross any lines. Far more sensitive moments were fair game across the league.

Parsons' Cowboys career is littered with great moments. The low point, however, undoubtedly was when he shut his eyes on the trainer's table last preseason. Not only did it signal that he no longer wanted to be in Dallas, but it also came off as disrespectful.

Parsons let his frustrations with Jerry Jones spill over into his behavior. Looking completely disinterested while teammates were fighting for roster spots was a terrible look.

He didn’t spend the entire game on the table, and he didn’t intend any disrespect, but that’s how it came across. Jerry Jones certainly didn't appreciate it.

As a Cowboys superstar locked in a contract stalemate with Jerry Jones, Parsons had to know the broadcast cameras would find him. It became such a big story that Parsons had to address his conduct on social media after the game.

It was his most controversial moment as a Cowboy. Without question.

The Cowboys haven’t exactly set the bar with their schedule release videos, but they hit the mark this time. It could backfire, though, as Parsons certainly won’t be lacking motivation when Dallas and Green Bay meet in Week 6, assuming he's cleared to return from his knee injury by then.
