While former Dallas Cowboys Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs technically reunited as teammates with the Green Bay Packers, they never once took the field together, as the former's season had already come to an end a few weeks before the latter arrived.
Parsons, of course, was traded to Green Bay last August after he and Jerry Jones failed to come to terms on a new contract. And much to the chagrin of Dallas fans everywhere, he was every bit the menace he was for America's Team for four years, racking up 12.5 sacks in 14 appearances for the Packers. Sadly, in Week 15, he was lost for the season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee.
Diggs knows all about that injury, as he suffered one of his own less than two months after signing a five-year, $97 million extension in 2023, and he hasn't been the same player since. After missing more time in 2024 and making just eight appearances for Dallas this past year, the two-time Pro Bowler was waived on December 30 and claimed by the Packers the next day, much to Parsons' delight.
Diggs ultimately made two appearances and was then released on January 20. Still without a job for the 2026 season, Diggs recently hit the gym with Parsons, who posted a pic of the two together, and it really seems like Trevon is sending signals that he wants another shot in Green Bay, as he was donning a Packers hoodie.

Not the most subtle gesture, is it? And one would think Diggs knew full well that Parsons would post, given his affinity for social media.
Ex-Dallas Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs clearly wants to rejoin Micah Parsons on the Packers again
Diggs' short run with the Packers was rather unimpressive, and he clearly wasn't viewed as an important piece of the defense.
Sure, he played 33 defensive snaps and another two on special teams in Week 18 against the Minnesota Vikings, but the Packers were playing a lot of backups, as their playoff position was already set. And in that playoff matchup against the Chicago Bears, Diggs played just one single snap. So, again, he wasn't an important piece.
That said, Green Bay actually does still need to add some depth at cornerback. In addition to releasing Diggs, they also released Nate Hobbs. The Packers did add Benjamin St-Juste in free agency, and it certainly won't be surprising to see them look hard at the position in the upcoming draft.
But if the price is right, perhaps Diggs can find a spot on the depth chart. And we're betting Parsons has already pitched the idea.
Regardless, it was quite funny that Diggs, an unrestricted free agent, wore a Packers hoodie during the workout, seemingly to convey his interest in running it back with Parsons. It's cool to see the former Cowboys linking up in the offseason, but the comedy of it all is undeniable.
