Now in his 10th year as the Dallas Cowboys' starting quarterback, Dak Prescott is certainly no stranger to making franchise history, a trend that began in his very first season in 2016, as the Mississippi State alum set rookie records for pass completions (311), passing yards (3,667), touchdown passes (23), passer rating (104.9), and wins (13), among others.

This Sunday, when America's Team hosts the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, Prescott is poised to pass Tony Romo to become the team's all-time leader in passing yards.

But as a warmup to that momentous occasion, Dak decided to go ahead and add a couple of more marks to his impressive resume in the Cowboys' lopsided 33-16 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football.

Dak Prescott made more Cowboys history in Dallas' big Week 11 win

In a game Dallas absolutely had to have to stay alive in the NFC playoff picture, Prescott put on one of his best performances of this 2025 campaign, earning a season-high 138.6 passer rating after completing 25 of 33 passes for 268 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions. The outing was made all the more impressive by the fact that his four TDs went to four different players, as CeeDee Lamb, Jake Ferguson, George Pickens, and Ryan Flournoy all reached the end zone.

Dak should have become the first Cowboys quarterback ever to throw five touchdowns on Monday Night Football, but a wide-open Lamb dropped what turned out to be Prescott's final throw of the night at the goal line in the fourth quarter.

Nevertheless, Dak, who became just the third Dallas QB to reach 80 regular-season wins, joining Troy Aikman (94) and Roger Staubach (85), now has 41 career games with at least three touchdown passes, thus breaking a tie with Romo for the most in franchise history. He also now has 13 games with at least four TD throws, which is also a Dallas record.

Furthermore, Prescott's 13 games with at least four touchdowns are good for the seventh-most by any quarterback in his first 10 seasons, an NFL record that currently belongs to Patrick Mahomes, who has had 18 such games in his first eight-plus years with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The overall record in that regard naturally belongs to Tom Brady, who had 39 such games during his 23-year run with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Prescott is now tied for 13th on the all-time list with current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

As for the Cowboys' franchise record for passing yards mentioned above, Dak now has 34,024 regular-season yards for his career, meaning he needs just 160 to take over the No. 1 spot from Romo, who passed for 34,183 yards during his 13-year run with America's Team.
