Fans have seen major changes to the Dallas Cowboys' offensive line over the past two weeks. Cooper Beebe and Tyler Booker, two building blocks on the Cowboys’ line, will be out multiple weeks with injuries.

With Tyler Guyton suffering a concussion in Sunday's tie against the Packers, Brian Schottenheimer turned to backup tackle Nate Thomas in a huge moment. Thomas also got some burn at right tackle, seemingly due to Terence Steele's poor play to start the year, and he passed with flying colors at both spots.

Thomas played a total of 17 snaps, and he didn’t allow a single pressure on 12 pass-blocking reps, per Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Nate Thomas' snaps vs. Green Bay should warrant him playing over Terrence Steele

Schottenheimer's hand was forced due to Guyton's concussion, but Thomas is someone who's been pushing for more snaps with his play on the practice field. Most of Thomas' snaps came at left tackle, and even though fans want to see Thomas play right tackle, Thomas' play in general was enough to give the Cowboys a potential solution if Steele continues to struggle.

Bob Sturm, a veteran of 1310 The Ticket, called Thomas a top three tackle on the offensive line, and he doesn't believe Thomas is third.

Thomas' fit at right tackle is seamless, and it would be a tremendous move that fans would easily applaud Schottenheimer for. Guyton's concussion doesn't sound too serious, and Thomas' impressive cameo officially starts the clock on Steele.

On one play at LT, Thomas matched Micah Parsons' physicality, showing great balance, staying on his feet to protect his quarterback and not allow Parsons to even be in the same vicinity of Prescott. While most of Thomas' snaps were on the left side, fans don't anticipate him replacing Guyton, which may lead to a tough conversation between Steele and the coaching staff.

Stephen Jones talked about how seriously Thomas has been embracing his role since training camp, and he made a name for himself on the biggest stage. It won't be surprising to see Thomas play more snaps, as he should, but it seems the general public is favoring him replacing Steele on the offense.
