The Dallas Cowboys offense hasn't skipped a beat without superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Dak Prescott has continued to play at an MVP level, and George Pickens has taken his game to a level we're not sure anyone thought was possible.
Pickens has been unstoppable even without Lamb being the focal point of opposing defenses, ranking in the top five among WRs during Lamb's absence in receiving yards, touchdowns, first downs, and passer rating when targeted. It makes you wonder how much more prolific Dallas' offense can be once Lamb returns.
Well, Jerry Jones told 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday that Lamb has a good chance of suiting up on Sunday against the Washington Commanders.
It sounds like the Cowboys could get CeeDee Lamb back in Week 7
"Without being doctor here, and without the benefit of a week of practice, we are thumbs up on all. It’s looking good, but that’s just it, you gotta have a week of practice," Jones said.
The Cowboys are hopeful that Lamb can get back on the practice field on Wednesday, when they release their first injury report for the week. He was spotted last week working on the resistance cords with the rehab team, and he shed his walking boot days after suffering the injury.
Lamb wasn't put on injured reserve, which would've knocked him out for four games, because Dallas felt he only needed a couple of weeks to recover. The All-Pro has now missed three weeks. A return in Week 7 would match the original recovery timeline Dallas provided.

It felt like the Cowboys always circled Week 7 against Washington as an ideal return date. In a vacuum, they should've gone 3-0 during that stretch. They tied the Packers 40-40 in an overtime shootout before blowing out the Jets and then losing to the Panthers on a last-second field goal.
If it wasn't clear before Week 6, the loss to Carolina proved that the Cowboys' offense is going to have to put points up on nearly every possession to win games. The defense is that bad. And while the offense has continued humming without No. 88, getting him back on the field will open up the entire playbook again.
Jones didn't confirm that Lamb will return this week, but it would be surprising at this juncture if he didn't suit up. It would come at the perfect time, as Dallas cannot afford to slide to 2-4-1.
