Cowboys fans might get must-see TV after Skip Bayless' Micah Parsons challenge

Let's get this on the books NOW, please.

This is nothing new for Dallas Cowboys fans, but here we go again. Skip Bayless is up to his usual shenanigans, as if folks still care what he has to say not only about the team, but the NFL in general.

The war between Bayless and former Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons goes back quite a while, now, and it doesn't appear to be over anytime soon.

Or could it?

In another way-too-long social media rant, Bayless was once again upset over things Parsons said about him:

"This is what Micah Parsons said about me ... 'f*** Skip Bayless,' Micah said about me, that I'm a 'Twitter finger a** motherf***er.'"

You don't have to watch the entire 20-plus minute tirade. Just a few more seconds and you'll hear Skip call Parsons out in grandiose fashion.

"Micah Parsons, I challenge you to meet me face to face on whatever venue you choose ... you would be more than welcome to come on Arena Gridiron with me, with Aqib Talib, or I'll come on your podcast. I'll fly to meet you face to face."

Skip Bayless and Micah Parsons could be setting Cowboys fans up for fireworks they never asked for

What's funny is that Parsons isn't even a Cowboy anymore, but yet, this has sort of become something you just can't look away from.

If you're like me, you don't care, even the slightest, about what Skip has to say -- about anything, truly. It doesn't matter the sport; Skip has been and will continue to be rage bait. That's all he's ever been.

But, when it comes to his interactions with people who actually play a sport, professionally, it's a little different. I am always up to watch a professional go on and debate Skip. It's hard not to want to watch him get obliterated.

In fact, one of the absolute greatest TV moments of all time, in my humble opinion, came when Mark Cuban totally destroyed Skip after his Dallas Mavericks beat LeBron James' Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. It was one of the best non-debates I have ever witnessed, and from then on, I made it a point to try to capture any and every professional who was to debate Skip on live TV.

All of that to say ... this challenge has to be accepted. Micah Parsons needs to give the fans what they want, and let's be real, how can we not want to watch Parsons vs. Skip in a debate?

It might be pure ridiculousness, but it sure would be fun.

Parsons is one of the best in the game at his position, and Skip is a mere talking head. Let's get this on the calendar, already.
