In case you haven't heard, the Dallas Cowboys have a really good offense. Sunday's 44-22 win over the Commanders marked the first time since 1973 that the Cowboys have scored over 40 points three times in the first seven weeks of a season.
It helps that Dak Prescott is playing as good as any quarterback in the NFL. With three more touchdowns in the victory, Prescott now has thrown for 13 touchdowns without recording a turnover over his alt four games.
And it helps that Prescott has the best supporting cast of his career, coaching included. Sunday was just another reminder that the Cowboys have two No. 1 wide receivers in CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. Prescott said as much immediately after the win.

No lies detected. The Cowboys have two "dudes" at receiver, and it would behoove Jerry Jones to ensure that remains the case beyond this season. While repairs are needed on the defensive side, this team can compete so long as Prescott is throwing to Lamb and Pickens.
In his first game back following a three-week absence with an ankle injury, Lamb paced Dallas with 110 receiving yards, highlighted by a 74-yard touchdown in the second quarter that extended the lead to 17-8. He could've had an even bigger day if the Cowboys hadn't gotten conservative in the fourth quarter while nursing a big lead.
Pickens, meanwhile, added 82 more receiving yards to his season tally and provided a few more circus catches along the sideline to his season-long highlight reel.
The 24-year-old didn't find the end zone this week, but he drew a 37-yard pass interference penalty on the game's inaugural possession that set up a Javonte Williams two-yard touchdown run to open the scoring. Pickens is on pace for over 1,400 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns this season.
That projection might regress now that Lamb is back in the fold, but make no mistake: this isn't a case of the Cowboys having a Batman and Robin. They have Captain America and Iron Man.
No defense has been capable of stopping -- or even limiting -- Lamb and Pickens. A trade or two to improve the defense before the November 4 deadline is the only thing standing in the Cowboys' way of being true contenders.
